*storms*
As clear droplets fall from the gray sky,
I think of you.
If rain can purify the earth
As if no one laid their wicked hands on it,
Why can’t my tears heal the wounds you inflicted on my heart
When you left.
It isn’t fair.
Did you think they’d get away with it?
The pollution, the slaughter, the littering, the damage.
For years they broke her down.
She is bruised but not at all weak
If she were
This revenge would cease to exist.
This is her fighting back
Against the thieves that took her for granted.
Do not ever question her strength.
She will always win.
And when the rain falls
She comes back stronger.
