*dreaming big*

Seven billion people exist on this planet,
with the purpose to sustain and fulfill.
I can bet that there are millions in the world,
that are told they can’t live their dreams.
They are told they do not “fit” the image,
 They are shackled by societal expectations,
They are ridiculed for even thinking that dreaming
is an option in this world.

Most of those people probably believe the lies
and are hiding.
What a shame.

What about those who still find the courage to voice their dreams?
Despite being told NO.
The negative comments.
The gossip and ridicule.
The judgment.
All superficial and close-minded.

Doesn’t forming aspirations and living by them require hope and strength?
It is easy to think in this world
But the minute our ideas come out of our mouths
Half the world tries to control whether we should put those thoughts to action.

Maybe nurturing a dream is really the first step.
We must protect it from bad people and the cruelties of the world.

Then will we be able to cherish that dream so deeply
We will do anything in our power to make it grow.
We will put our lives into it.
Just as we all are meant to.
